As we like to say:
choose the North

We think with our record of taking home some golden statuettes, we’re a pretty good choice! Canadian official coproductions have earned numerous prestigious awards—including Oscars®—and have been selected by some of the world’s biggest festivals. This is just the beginning.

Also,
Becoming the first non-European country to join Eurimages shows that
we mean business up North.

Be part of a
coproduction of choice.

YOUR PARTNERS

Coproducing with Canada:
Easy peasy

The 3 roads
to the North.

1.

Official Coproductions

Your country has a coproduction treaty with Canada, so what are you waiting for? Working on an official coproduction with Canada means working with some of the most talented people in the business. For countries with official coproduction treaties, projects could include film, television, digital media projects, and more.

NO TREATY? NO PROBLEM.

If your country doesn’t have an official coproduction treaty with Canada, co-ventures and Canadian production services may be the right options for you.

We’ve got our
finger on the pulse

We’re inspired by more than just creative opportunities. We believe in partnering and creating in ways that resonate globally.

Public funding is available for projects that involve and support Indigenous and cultural communities, women in key roles (director, producer, writer) and emerging talent.
