Canada Goes Online at Cannes 2021!

The Canadian delegation gears up for the Cannes Film Festival’s first hybrid virtual and in-person edition with a robust online presence!

The festival’s Marché du Film (July 6 to 15, 2021) runs in tandem with the Cannes Film Festival (July 6 to 17, 2021). Attended by the largest international community of film professionals, it’s a critical marketplace that facilitates historic sales, inspiring coproductions, and distribution deals.

Canada has always made its mark at the Marché du Film, and this year’s hybrid format is no exception – more than 140 companies and 220 industry professionals from Canada are set to virtually attend! Meet them at the Virtual Canada Pavilion, powered by Telefilm Canada, with principal partner Ontario Creates and major partner Manitoba Film & Music.

In another first, the Marché du Film will also run Pre-Cannes Screenings ahead of the July event! From June 21 to 25, 2021, buyers and festival programmers registered for the Marché du Film will have access to streaming screening rooms and online booths for sales companies.
