SXSW kicks off March 8th with an impressive Canadian lineup! For the very first time, the spheres of film, television, music and interactive all convene under one roof: Canada House. Whether you’re into industry panels, musical showcases, networking events, or late night DJ sets, here’s a sneak peak of some of the best that Canada House has to offer.

March 8th: SXSW International Women’s Day Celebration

Join this bold and inspired conversation on the power of Queer fandom with the Queering the Script panel presentation presented by Telefilm, Wattpad and Shaftesbury. See how these companies prioritize the importance of providing empowering content that supports LGBTQ+ characters and celebrate a spectrum of identities.

March 10th: Vancouver Day @ Canada House

Don’t miss the SXSW Reception, your chance to meet Michelle Mylett and Dylan Playfair of Letterkenny. Then stay for the Official Launch Party of the Canada House, hosted by Shaftesbury & KCP, with an all-ladies hip hop and EDM set featuring DJ Oshow, Blondtron, Ingrid Hakanson and DJ Tizi.

March 11th: Quebec Day @ Canada House

From a delicious brunch created by the Montréal chef of La Récolte Espace Local, to meeting visionary Francophone entrepreneurs and enjoying Quebec night lights, you won’t regret spending the day with us.

March 12th: Film, Tech and Music from Canada

Have lunch with Canadian filmmakers like directors Ron Mann (Carmine Street Guitars), Ricky Tollman (Run This Town) and Grace Glowicki (Tito). RSVP here
