Canada’s bringing our presence and Pavilion online this year at the 44th Annecy International Animation Film Festival and Mifa, taking place from June 15 to 30, 2020.

This year’s online market will feature animated content, online meetings, video pitch sessions (including 3 Canadian projects!), networking opportunities, and much more, including our Canada Pavilion. (In partnership with the Embassy of Canada in France, the Alliance des producteurs francophones du Québec (APFC), the Canada Media Fund, the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA), Creative BC, Ontario Creates, SODEC/Québec Creatif, and the Talent Fund.)

Canada’s making its online presence known with some amazing animated shorts in official competition:

A short coproduction for kids in the Young Audiences section:

  • Tobias Schlage’s and Brent Forrest’s Like and Follow (Canada-Germany coproduction)
