Canada FBM2020 is going digital with a Special Edition Frankfurt Book Fair happening online from October 14 to 18, 2020, loaded with literature and culture.

As announced by the Department of Canadian Heritage, our previously-planned spotlight role as Country of Honour will continue from this special online 2020 edition into next year’s in-person edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair, planned for October 20 to 24, 2021.

Meanwhile, to celebrate, support, and enjoy the diverse stories of Canadian culture and literature — from musical performances to literary mini-documentaries — check out Canada’s online events at the virtual 2020 Special Edition Frankfurt Book Fair. With the theme of “singular plurality,” our virtual programming is open to all.

Canada’s virtual programming will include such homegrown talent as: Kim Thúy, Margaret Atwood, Esi Edugyan, Catherine Hernandez, Alix Ohlin, Guillaume Perreault, David A. Robertson, Jocelyne Saucier, Sydney Smith, and Joshua Whitehead.

Visit the Canada FBM2020 website, for the full virtual programming line-up and to take part!
