(P.S. It\u2019s also Ivory Coast\u2019s Academy Awards submission for Best International Feature Film).<\/p><p><b>3)<\/b> As announced last year, <strong>Montreal\u2019s<em> Festival du nouveau cin\u00e9ma<\/em> (FNC) has been selected to present this year\u2019s Eurimages Audentia award!<\/strong> Presented each year at a different festival around the world, the 30,000 euro Audentia prize is awarded to a female director. As explained in this <a href=\"https:\/\/rm.coe.int\/3rd-gender-equality-strategy-web-2772-2356-6081-v-1\/1680a015bf\">official document<\/a>, its goal is the \u201cadvancement and stronger participation of women\u201d in the audiovisual industry, and creating gender equality in the member states of the Council of Europe.<\/p><p><b>6)<\/b> Did you know that Canada is one of the Eurimages member countries whose movie theatres can apply for the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coe.int\/en\/web\/eurimages\/exhibition\">Eurimages support programme for cinemas<\/a><\/strong>, which helps get eligible films into these cinemas, from programming to promotion? Yes indeed!
