This Canada-Bosnia and Herzegovina coproduction was Bosnia and Herzegovina\u2019s submission for the Best Foreign Film category at the Academy Awards<\/strong>. Set after the war in Sarajevo (where the Bosnian-Canadian director was born), this thrilling feature tells the story of two troubled teenagers who fall in love – one from an affluent and powerful family, and one who dabbles in petty crime, both seeking freedom.<\/p>

The project was awarded Eurimages funding in 2019<\/a>.
